Got some pictures of the SVX-R and the chrome banana together. also got to ride it! (though comp was freaking on the SV...’too weird” he says :D)

whilst we were chatting outside royal distributing, an AWESOME 240Z with a 260Z engine pulled in. mmmmm

aannd a honda on some quyestionable rimz (yo)

after that, G-body parted ways, and the comp showed me an ex-fiat dealer...WITH FIATS STILL THERE.

I’m prrrreeetttyyy sure Cletus44 would have screamed like a little girl in excitment

oh, and a Ford Edsel that was parked at a gas station.

Was today not waaaay too hot for bike gear? I spent the morning working and the afternoon on a lake in my kayak and swimming, not even 30 minutes from Guelph actually.

as for full gear: I should have taken my mesh jacket, but I’m ATGATT. I’d much rather sweat out 4 pounds of water then have to get a skin graft

Yeah, I live about 45 min north of Guelph. I’ll definitely have to meet up with some Oppos, there’s lots of summer left though so we’ve got time.

No doubt on the choice, I just figured it was way too warm to even ride today. Then again, I’m not a fan of high temps in general.

Related: How does one clean leathers? After sweating in mine, they get quite nasty. For recreational riding, the post ride shower fixes that; it's more problematic when riding to work.

well: i’ll tell you what it said on mine:
no washing
no dry cleaning
no dryiers
take to specialist

I ended up just scrubbing the inside by hand for an hour to try and get the stench out.

AND IT DIDNT WORK FFS. (or work well...) (I just febreeze bombed it...think I might throw that one out...absolute shame, because that was a really nice jacket too....i’m going to try emailing the manufacturer and seeing what they say...)

Leather cleaner? Jk. I usuallly air it out. There is sports stuff we use for hockey equipment that breaks the stink enzymes down. Seems to work for sweaty teenagers pads, etc. Might be worth a look?

When I get philosophical (or eccentric at my age), I like to see it as a snapshot in time. Like it has changed in minor ways with additions (Neon, ambulance, Jeep Comanche ), but is still the same as it was when it shut down all those years ago.
